Program Director, FISD

Tristan Dehaan has been working in the financial industry for more than 30 years now with the last 17, specifically in market data roles. From the start it began in the UK at Chase Manhattan Bank covering Trustee Administration and then moving with the company to their Luxembourg offshore banking center at the start of the 1990’s focusing on Fund Administration & Custody services. Thereafter, another European move to The Netherlands, working for TMF (trust company) and then Asset Management firms Robeco and Aegon where the journey truly began in Market Data as a Global Vendor Manager.  From negotiation, relationship management both internally and externally, contract management and data compliance focus, there was never a dull moment.

Always working on the buy side but interacting in the industry actively and spending many years of involvement with FISD, both as a member and former Co-Chair of the CCG and ExCo teams.  With curiosity, charm and not afraid to ask difficult questions, the market data industry has always provided old and new challenges to sink ones teeth into. Therefore, it feels that the circle is complete as Tristan now takes a consultant role with FISD to help create event programs, find dynamic speakers and content, plus run some of the Working Groups and WFIC programming.
