Education Technology Policy Manager
Victoria Akosile is the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) manager of ed tech policy. Victoria has spent most of her early career working in education and has conducted research at the Urban Institute across higher ed and CTE programs, as well as with Education Testing Services on K-12 state policies. She has spent time in the classroom having taught English in China and Spain. Prior to joining SIIA, Victoria worked with the Infectious Diseases Society of America where she worked directly on policies related to the COVID-19 pandemic. She earned her bachelor’s degree at George Washington University where she studied political science and minored in literature. As a DC native, Victoria can be found enjoying the Smithsonian museums or browsing through one of the city’s bookstores.
